The architecture you will work with
A PHP and Yii core, a web interface, domain modules and shared data/integration components. The diagram shows responsibilities and relationships rather than private server topology.
MVC at the application core
Controllers coordinate requests and permissions, models handle data access and domain rules, and views render the interface. PHP, Yii and jQuery are part of this everyday workflow.
Modules around the care pathway
Admission, prescribing, records, graphical forms, inpatient care, nursing and surgery connect with BioVisit, referrals, registries, biobanking and finance, supported by shared components.
Data, events and operations
MariaDB stores operational data, Valkey supports caching and event coordination, and ClickHouse provides analytics where enabled. WebSocket communication, scheduled jobs and backups complete the operational picture.
Defined integration boundaries
Insurer and external-service adapters handle different API contracts. Institutional and physician identity, responses and connection failures must remain consistent, without exposing sensitive data in public output.
