Given the changes taking place worldwide, the need for comprehensive software that meets medical practices' needs is greater than ever. I reviewed most available practice systems and chose this one. It was designed and implemented in a knowledge-based company through collaboration between professors at Tehran University of Medical Sciences and graduates of Sharif University of Technology. It is specialty-oriented and can accommodate the needs of each specialty and subspecialty. Its prescribing system is also very easy, fast and comprehensive. Although it is web-based, it is very fast; from discussions with its designers, I learned that they used the latest programming technologies. I recommend it to all colleagues.

For years I had been looking for good practice software. Despite trying several systems, none satisfied me. About a year ago I learned that BioArc's scientific and implementation team was developing a comprehensive practice system. As soon as it was announced that BioArc was ready to operate, I asked them to launch it at my center as the first installation. One of its features is its focus on the needs of each medical specialty. Its excellent graphics and very high speed are other strengths. After several weeks of using it, I believe it can satisfy my colleagues.

I use this software. An important advantage is its fast and effective support. Another important feature is its simple, fast electronic prescribing system: there is no need to log into the Social Security or Salamat software, as prescriptions can be sent directly to either system.

BioArc has a clear advantage because it addresses the detailed record requirements of each specialty and subspecialty and is continually updated by its tireless support team, who welcome feedback. Its prescribing updates bring together useful features from other systems, including editing, prescribing for a later date, frequently used prescriptions and automatically connecting to the patient's insurer, making work simpler and faster. The BioArc mobile app has also allowed me to access history, examination and prescribing anytime and anywhere.

To meet the needs of my practice and workplace, I reviewed and used various offline and online practice systems over the past ten years, but unfortunately was not fully or even relatively satisfied. For the second phase of the pediatric CKD Registry study, we sought an organization providing comprehensive networked online software to record, analyze and ultimately publish patient information. After contracting with BioArc, whose registry platform was comprehensive, we began the second phase of the national registry of infants, children and adolescents with CKD. In recent months we also learned that this knowledge-based company had a web-based online system for recording all clinical and paraclinical patient data. The major capabilities I observed were storing medical findings, electronic appointments and virtual patient communication at any time and place, modern programming technologies, and specialty-oriented tools capable of meeting different specialties' and subspecialties' needs. In the short time since BioArc joined the electronic prescribing initiative, readily visible information, quick data display, graphics that speed prescription entry, comprehensive medication, laboratory and imaging information, diagnostic, treatment and history sections on one screen, and a strong scientific and implementation team responding promptly to colleagues' requests have helped physicians work faster and feel satisfied while significantly reducing the time spent entering prescriptions.

BioArc is the easiest and fastest software I have used: the medicines and laboratory tests I need are readily available, so nothing is overlooked. Radiography, ultrasound, MRI and CT requests, with and without contrast, are also easy to enter. Complaints, clinical examination findings and patient history can be recorded easily. The documents section even supports referring patients to the appropriate specialist. To record a referral, however, the specialist's mobile number is required. It would be excellent if specialists' mobile numbers across the country were registered so that referred patients would not encounter electronic referral problems.
